Course Information

This course is targeted at beauty therapists, holistic therapists and nail technicians who are new to teaching. The Award in Education and Training is the recognised and accredited UK entry level teaching qualification. Students must be prepared to work on an intensive basis over one week.​ The one week course is delivered online with dedicated tutor support, to give you guidance and feedback on your assignments/lesson plan for the micro teach session (delivered at the end of the week). Students are required to read course notes, participate in discussion forums and complete the set assignments/ tasks. Tasks include producing a 15 minute lesson plan, presenting the lesson to the rest of the group, evaluation of another micro teach session and then producing a reflective journal, summarising your learning experience. ​ Various course dates are available with Skype option for those unable to travel to the training centre at Milton Keynes. You will be able to select your session from the available dates when you book your course. This is a Level 3 Qualification . All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Award in Education and Training (AET).
